Board your comfortable vehicle in Rishikesh early in the morning to launch your adventure. This scenic 256 km drive takes roughly 9 to 10 hours. Specifically, you climb steadily from 1,220 feet up to 6,700 feet. The route follows the beautiful Alaknanda River valley, past holy confluences such as Devprayag.
You will reach the mountain base town of Joshimath by late evening. Immediately check into your cozy guesthouse to unpack and relax. Therefore, use this quiet time to rest your body completely. Ultimately, your amazing trekking expedition officially kicks off tomorrow.
JOSHIMATH - GULLING CAMP
Savor your breakfast before taking a short 12 km drive from Joshimath to Tugasi village. Put on your boots here to launch your foot journey immediately. Next, begin a steady 4 to 5-hour climb toward your first wilderness campsite. Consequently, you will gain around 2,800 feet in altitude during this scenic mountain ascent.

GULLING - KHULLARA CAMP

Wake up early to start your final day of active trekking on the mountain. Begin a steady downhill descent through the beautiful forest trails. Specifically, follow the familiar 12 km path back down toward Tugasi village. This scenic return hike takes approximately 6 to 7 hours of careful walking.
Board your waiting private vehicle immediately upon reaching Tugasi village. Subsequently, enjoy a quick 12 km drive back to your comfortable guesthouse in Joshimath. Once there, you can clean up, relax completely, and celebrate your grand achievement. Ultimately, you have successfully conquered the legendary Kuari Pass.
JOSHIMATH - RISHIKESH
Wake up early in Joshimath to prepare for the final leg of your journey. Board your comfortable vehicle to begin the long 256 km drive back to Rishikesh. This scenic highway transit takes approximately 9 to 10 hours. Consequently, you will spend the day relaxing while retracing your route through the mountains.
Enjoy the last spectacular views of the deep valleys and rushing rivers along the highway. You will finally arrive back in Rishikesh by the evening hours. Ultimately, this arrival marks the official end of your memorable Kuari Pass trekking adventure with Olixora.
